Introduction
Carlos Condit is a fighter that is overlooked. Condit has been making massive strides in the MMA world but isn't getting as recognized as UFC welterweights. With a good height of 6'2 and then including a well versatile attack of both submissions and knockout power, Condit is becoming a real threat to other welterweights. Condit looks like a skinny young many that posses little power but that could be far from the case. Fighters have came into the ring/octagon and believed Condit has no power and then have found them self lying on the floor. Condit is a fighter that never had much hype about him but continued to succeed due to hard work and consistency. People forget that Carlos Condit is only 24 years of age and there is no guessing how far this fighter will shine in the future.
Early Life
Carlos Condit was born on April 26, 1984 and enjoyed fighting in his younger years. He was able to achieve some wrestling skills in his early years of high school. At the tender age of 15, Condit joined the MMA camp entitled FIT NHB (Fighters in Training – No Holds Barred). As soon as Condit turned 18, he stepped into the ring and had his first MMA fight. Condit has tried to discover all the skills of MMA, this is evident by his trip to Thailand which was taken to better understand Thai boxing.

The Future
Carlos Condit has the made the rise to success very quickly, and in six years of fighting is well on top of his game. it is unbelievable that Condit is such a good fighter at the tender age of 24, this guy is going to be around for the next ten years. The one question which is talked about Condit, is when will he make the move to the big boys - THE UFC. Currently ranked the sixth best welterweight in the world, Condit should face of against the UFC top welterweights to see how good he can be. In my eyes, I can see Condit not going to badly inside the UFC. I think Condit could be very competitive against the likes of Thiago Alves, Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck and Diego Sanchez, maybe even picking up a win against them. If Condit does decide to stay in the World Extreme Cagefighting organization then his ranking will begin to drop and drop because there are no real welterweights there who are ranked in the top ten in the world.
