WEC and The Versus Network Looking to Sign Long Term Extension

Good news for the WEC and Versus…
According to the SportsBusiness Journal, the Versus Network is close to signing a long-term extension with the WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting). Full details are not known at this time, but the major parts of the deal look to be locking up the WEC for two more years, as well as giving Versus.com the rights to air the preliminary bouts that do not make the original broadcast.
