Heath Herring Out of UFC 99

Not good…
- According to mma.fanhouse.com , Heath Herring is out of his UFC 99 bout with Cain Velasquez, which was the evening's co-main event. Herring has been battling an illness for weeks, and apparently has not been able to train. There is no word on a replacement opponent for Cain Velasquez at this time.
- UFC 99 will take place in Cologne, Germany on June 13. Here is the UFC 99 card:
MAIN CARD :
· Rich Franklin vs. Wanderlei Silva
· Cain Velasquez vs. ???
· Ben Saunders vs. Mike Swick
· Marcus Davis vs. Dan Hardy
· Spencer Fisher vs. Caol Uno
PRELIMINARY CARD:
· Justin Buchholz vs. Terry Etim
· Dale Hartt vs. Denis Siver
· Peter Sobotta vs. Paul Taylor
· Roli Delgado vs. Paul Kelly
· Denis Stojnic vs. Stefan Struve
· John Hathaway vs. Rick Story
· Mustapha al Turk vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic
That really sucks. Goes from having a broken orbital bone to this - has to be tough.
However, that said...make it Cro Cop vs Cain and have it on the main card! Though Mirko has fallen on hard times, he doesn't deserve to be on the damn undercard.

You make that main event a triple threat. Now THATS a muthafucking main event. Franklin v Silva v Sapp with Velasquez as the guest ref.

When does Shane Carwin fight next?

I think they'll eventually do a Velasquez-Carwin fight and give the winner a title match. Just not right now, I think it depends on who wins between Lesnar and Mir.
