Gets a three year suspended sentence…
According to MMAJunkie.com, the Tokyo District Court has sentenced Sengoku fighter Kazuo Misaki to one year of prison, which has been suspended for three years. This is due to a March 19th incident, where Misaki was driving and using his cell phone, which is illegal in Tokyo. Misaki was pulled over, and fled the scene. He also injured an officer's wrist when the driver's side window struck the officer.
In May, Misaki was arrested, indicted and then posted bail on June 4th. Today, at a press conference organized by World Victory Road, Misaki made a public apology. Misaki is currently scheduled to fight on the August 2nd Sengoku show, but officials are meeting to determine if he will be allowed to fight on the show.
