Mikey Burnett Says His Career Is Over

Too much spinal damage…

A while back there were rumblings that Strikeforce would put on a rematch featuring Mikey Burnett vs. Pat Miletich. Unfortunately for Burnett that is not an option due to damage to his spinal cord. Burnett posted the following message on The Underground today…

Bad news I just left my Dr, .I'll never be cleared to fight again. Got a new MRI a few weeks ago, Arthritis has set in my spinal cord and he is not sure the surgery would change anything this long after, too much damage done to the cord.
