But there are some conditions…
Back on June 26th, the Tokyo District Court has sentenced Sengoku fighter Kazuo Misaki to one year of prison, which was suspended for three years. This was due to a March 19th incident, where Misaki was driving and using his cell phone, which is illegal in Tokyo. Misaki was pulled over, and fled the scene. He also injured an officer's wrist when the driver's side window struck the officer.
There was some question as to whether or not he would still fight on the Sengoku Ninth Battle show, and today those questions have been answered. Misaki will fight Kazuhiro Nakamura at the Sengoku Ninth Battle, but there are some conditions.
* He will receive no pay for the bout.
* He will not earn a title shot if he wins.
* He will begin an indefinite suspension immediately after the fight.
World Victory Road officials made the announcement today and Kazuo Misaki has fully agreed to the punishment.
