Jeff Monson Pleads Guilty, Could Face Up To 90 Days In Jail

According to The Associated Press, Jeff Monson has entered a plea of guilty, under the Alford plea, for spray-painting the anarchist symbol on the Washington state Capitol. Under an Alford plea, a defendant does not admit guilt but concedes there would be enough evidence to convict if the case went to trial. Prosecutors have said that they will recommend that Monson serve a 90-day jail sentence on top of the $21,894 in restitution as part of the plea deal. Monson will be sentenced on October 1st.
