Next month's UFC 103: Franklin vs. Belfort PPV will be in direct competition with boxing's Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez, and UFC have teamed up with Spike to give their show an extra promotional push. For the first time the UFC will air a two hour broadcast of their PPV's preliminary fights, live and commercial-free. UFC 103 also features more fights than any other card in company history, as they currently have 13 fights scheduled for the card. No word yet on which fights will be broadcast on Spike.

Main Card Bouts:
Rich Franklin vs. Vitor Belfort
Junior dos Santos vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic
Mike Swick vs. Martin Kampmann
Josh Koscheck vs. Frank Trigg
Tyson Griffin vs. Hermes Franca

Preliminary Bouts:
Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller
Dan Lauzon vs. Rafaello Oliveira
Paul Daley vs. Brian Foster
Drew McFedries vs. Tomasz Drwal
Jason Brilz vs. Eliot Marshall
Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Igor Pokrajac
Robert Emerson vs. Rafael Dos Anjos
Jim Miller vs. TBA*

*Miller's original opponent, Thiago Tavares, recently pulled out of the fight with an injury and a replacement has not been named.

Not a bad set of fights to put on free TV.

haha fucking brilliant. I also love how compliant Spike TV always is. Their complicity in UFC programming hijinks I think is a reason UFC will remain loyal to them.

When the UFC competes with other organizations, the fans win. And we win big

fuck yea, go Dana. UFC continues to give the fans what we want. With any luck this could become a regular thing.
