Henderson vs. Marquardt Could Headline UFC 105
Posted by  on 09.10.2009

UFC 105 will take place in just two months, on November 14th in Manchester, England. Currently the show has no main event, but at least one report indicates that the company is lining up a middleweight contenders fight between Dan Henderson and Nate Marquardt.

Henderson has stated recently that the only fight he's interested in at middleweight is a rematch with the champion, Anderson Silva. Reports have also surfaced in recent days that he is currently a free agent, and negotiations with the UFC have gone slowly.

Currently the UFC has just two fights listed for the event:

Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang
Dan Hardy vs. Dong Hyun Kim

Make this match! This would make UFC 105 look like a very good show. for the love of God, I hope Kang finishes the job on Bisping that Hendo started.

As for Marquardt vs. Hendo, lets go Marquardt!

Dear Middleweight Division,

Please hold still while I take a massive, dirty shit all over you.

Lots of love,
Dana White and Joe Silva

I hope so. Dan better win this in a quick fashion to prove that he is serious in fighting Anderson Silva. I see no one beating Anderson Silva.

If only there was something that the UFC could give Hendo to make him want to fight Nate . . .

UFC's plan for 105 was Bisping vs Silva, but since Hendo got the win it fucked things up for them.

Nate will destroy Henderson. He's huge for middle weight and his striking is pretty freakin crazy good.

I hate to say it because I love Anderson Silva (fan love not creepy touchy love), but I truly think the middleweight div would be better off without him. If he vacated the title then we could have a 4man tourney to crown a new champ and have a slew of brand new title fights. My picks for the four would be: Hendo, Marquardt, Okami, and Belfort if he gets by Franklin, or Akiyama if Belfort fails.
