If this isn't free.... I can see very VERY low buys for UFC.

AWESOME FIGHT!

Is it going to be a 5 rounder? Pretty underwhelming card otherwise, especially in terms of a main event.

I hope Randy destroys that loud mouth Vera.

Brandon Vera is still relavent?
Posted By: Cody (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 05:26 PM
what a joke. Vera is not a main eventer.
Posted By: Guest Guest (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 05:27 PM
So not a fan of Vera so I hope Couture destroys him.
Posted By: Jeremy (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 05:31 PM
Well Brandon Vera has been eeking out decisions against low to mid level competition so yes he does in fact deserve to be in the same octagon as Randy *facepalm*

I'm pretty sure its free since its airing on Spike Tv....
Posted By: Guest (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 06:20 PM
Wow, this is bad. Maybe as a co-main event or a free TV main event, but under NO circumstances should this be a PPV main event.
Posted By: dfdf (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 06:26 PM
Well at least its free. Cant look a gift horse in the mouth(Even if it has a bad eye and smells funny)
Posted By: dsd (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 06:28 PM
It's an alright main event. I was hoping for Marquardt-Henderson and would have loved to see Penn-Sanchez, but this isn't a failure by any means.
Anyway, I hope Couture actually kills Brandon Vera...for real.
Same with Kang killing Bisping

I Think This A Great Card For Free,You Haters Are A Bunch Of Clowns
Posted By: Paul (Guest) on September 13, 2009 at 10:48 PM
WOW!! So if Vera beats Randy, what does that really prove? Machida,Rampage,Evans,Thiago, hell, even Ortiz would wipe the mat with Vera. For the Record, im thinking Randy will too.

Well he has lost his past two fights and hes pretty much done with the title picture.
And honestly, would you pay $50 bucks for this!?

Officially a great card now.

Thank you Dana for booking a fight that nobody cares about

While I never would have thought to put Couture agaist Vera.... now that it is set I cannot wait to see it. Seems like an intersting match up.

Good God people. Read before freaking out:
"The show will air on tape delay on SpikeTV in the US"
On a different note, the fight makes sense. Couture is returning to a Light Heavyweight division that has changed drastically since his last run at that weight. Vera has been winning, albeit not impressively. It makes perfect sense to put Couture in against a current middle of the pack LHW if for no other reason, than to see how he will fair. As I said the LHW division he is coming back to is drastically different than it was even 3 years ago, let alone last time Randy was there.
