Bout will be for the undisputed middleweight championship...
Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker has confirmed that Jason "Mayhem" Miller will face Jake Shields on November 7th. The bout will be aired live on CBS as part of the card featuring Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers.
Coker also confirmed that Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Cung Le has accepted another movie role, and as such he has decided to relinquish his title. Miller and Shields will meet to determine the new undisputed middleweight champion.

It's about time, now just strip the title from Overeem and make the Fedor/Rogers fight for HW belt. Two world titles on the line = increased ratings.

I have been saying this needs to happen for so long. If Mayhem can win then he will be the breakout star for Strikeforce that Fedor will not be.
Rematch with Jacare???

Cung has been fighting for a long long time. He proved his skills and has a golden opportunity to do movies and make real money that most will never get to do. MMA and kickboxing didn't pay to well years ago and still don't today compared to what boxers got even 10 years ago. Hes 38 and a striker. Not too much time left anyways. I would love to see him keep fighting but he is doing what he want to do and he earned it.
