Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort Likely For UFC 108

The UFC's big year-end show may have found it's main event...
According to a new report, the UFC is putting together a middleweight championship bout between current title holder Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort for UFC 108. The event is expected to be held on January 2nd in Las Vegas. Verbal agreements are in place, however the fight has yet to be made official.
Silva has been UFC Middleweight Champion for three years, and is coming off his non-title victory over Forrest Griffin at UFC 101. Belfort made his return to the company with a first-round KO of former middleweight champ Rich Franklin last weekend at UFC 103.

I have wanted to see this fight since Belfort KTFO'd Lindland. He can give Silva a fight and all you guys pushing for other fights STFU because the last time you guys wanted to wait for a superfight, Gonzaga humiliated Cro Cop.

If Vitor's ground game was as good as his striking, then i'd give him a chance. but there is no way he can out-strike Silva.

This is the fight I wanna see. I say have winner of Hendo/Marquardt fight the winner of this fight, which they'll probably do anyway. Sucks for Hendo and Marquardt both.

Excellent. Dan and Nate can wait. New matchup is better than a rematch. (though Belfort becoming #1 middleweight contender based on a catchweight victory is a little odd)

Okami hasn't looked like champion material since his win over the late Evan Tanner and well you wanna be put to sleep by LNP? Hendo and Nate The Great do deserve shots but heres why they aren't getting them yet A Silva Win Nate Marquardt TKO (Punches) Rd 1 4:50, A.
