WEC Signs Brad Pickett

To fight at bantamweight…
According to Fighter's Only Magazine, the WEC shopping spree continues as the company has signed British fighter Brad Pickett (17-4) to a contract. Pickett is a former Cage Rage featherweight champion, trains in England on his own as well as in Florida with American Top Team. He will fight in the bantamweight division. WEC general manager had the following to say on the signing…
"Brad Pickett has never really fought on the big, big shows, yet everyone knows who he is. That is a testament to the kind of fighter that he is. He is going to be fight at 135 lbs., and I think at bantamweight he is going to be very, very dangerous. I am excited about bringing him in, I really am. He is on a seven-fight winning streak I believe, that's a hell of a run."
