Brett Rogers Discusses Fighting Fedor, His Past, Begin A Full Time Fighter, More

The Grim speaks!
Brett Rogers was on ESPN's First Take this morning for a brief appearance, here are the highlights:
They discuss Rogers working at Sam's Club, and how his life changed when he knocked out Andrei Arlovski.
Rogers says that he is a normal person. He worked 40-50 hours, trained and then was a father. But now, he is a full time fighter, and that is a dream come true for him. He wakes up, works out, and does his thing.
He says jaws will drop when he fights Fedor. Everyone will know him, Fedor is #1 in the world, and he is confident that he will knock him out.
As far as his athletic background, he played football and basketball, and got into boxing and tae kwan do, and that got him into MMA.
His biggest challenge with Fedor is the fact that he has to be patient. Fedor is not dumb, he is smart and waits for his chance. Rogers says this is the first time he has been able to just train, and he will be ready for the challenge.
He plans to win Saturday night, and this whole experience has been a blast for him.
A short appearance for Rogers, who came off as humble and likable. Unfortunately, while they mentioned the fight and Saturday as the night, they never mentioned CBS or the time and location of the show.
This guy talks a BIG game-his dreams are gonna be shattered Saturday night.

His confidence must be sky high, Arlovski is a good fighter and a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and he dismantled him inside a minute. We don't know how good Rogers is, Rogers probably doesn't know how good Rogers is either compared to other great fighters, so what reason does he have to think he can't do to Fedor what he did to Andrei?
Obviously I, personally, don't think he will, but Rogers has zero blemishes on his record and he showed he's good enough to fight top calibre HW's and win. Easily.

If there is one thing we know about Fedor, it's that he is not unbeatable. Anyone who thinks that Rogers doesn't have at least a punchers chance needs to look no further than the Fedor vs. Fujita fight. Rogers has more punching power than Fujita, does he not?

I hope he puts up a good fight even if he loses, unlike Timmy. It'll be amazing to see the internet explode if he does pull out the victory though.

Fedor also dismantled Fugita right after he got rocked which only occurred because Fedor was playing around with him to entertain the Japanese audience.
I'm not saying he planned on getting rocked but he could have ended the fight whenever he wanted too as he displayed.
I find it interesting that Rogers plans on fighting patiently. This fight might go a few rounds.
