According to MMAJunkie.com, Cung Le (6-0) vs. Scott Smith (16-6) is in the works for Strikeforce: Evolution on December 19th. This would be Le's first fight in 21 months. Here is the rumored card for the event:
- Cung Le vs. Scott Smith*
- Champ Josh Thomson vs. TBA (for lightweight championship)*
- Matt Lindland vs. Ronald "Jacare" Souza*
- Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal vs. TBA*
- Robbie Lawler vs. TBA*

Awesome! So does that mean the Tekken film looks like it's gonna suck a big one and bomb at the box office, or maybe go straight to DVD?
Fight, Cung, fight, this will be an easy win and reintroduction, but FFS don't give him a title shot unless he guarantees you a few title defences.

cyks raises a good point. Think Le collapsed under the pressure of being a champ? Kinda funny that right after he drops the belt he decides to fight.
