Gegard Mousasi Wants To Fight Dan Henderson

Plus says he will not return to Middleweight…
- MMAWeekly recently spoke with Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Gegard Mousasi, here are the highlights…
On Staying At Light Heavyweight: "I won't make it anymore. It's not healthy for me, so 185 (pounds) I will never do," Mousasi said. "Maybe for an experiment go for heavyweight, but that's also too soon. I'm just going to stick with 205, there's a lot of good fighters coming now, a lot of shows. With Dream in cooperation with M-1 Global and Strikeforce next year I heard they have 20 shows, so eventually they will build up contenders and I'm pretty sure I will have tough opponents in the future."
On Who he Wants To Fight Next: "It depends on what's best for the U.S. market. I think a fight against Dan Henderson would be more interesting than fighting a guy like Ricardo Arona because he's from Brazil, I'm from Holland," commented Mousasi. "It depends on the opponent and what Scott (Coker) decides and what the audience wants to see."
I thought this guy was pure greatness but he could have soka-jew (lol) Dan Henderson would submit him pretty quickly.

Thought Mousasi was going to run through Soko, but he was actually having problems with him....best Soko has looked against a real opponent and if he hadn't GASSED may have won.
Mousasi may want to think twice about Hendo.

You've just described every fight Soko's lost over the last two years.

Soko always does well in the first round though. He starts strong then gasses ever time...his big wins, Lil Nog and Arona, were before everyone figured him out. Mousasi also starts strong, so it was a tough first round.

Gerard looks completely uninterested Saturday night. I thought Sokodjou was gonna catch him. Must be the Fedor rubbing off on him.

Sokodjou is the Ultimate Warrior of MMA. Good for 4 min and then nothing.

People really need to stop riding Dan Henderson, the guy is 39 years old and beat up. He scraped by Rich Franklin but by knocking the fuck out of bisping, he all of the sudden is a top guy. Gimme a break, Mousasi would win.

I thought he looked kinda small at 205, but that was in comparison to Sokodjou who seemed to have no problem tossing him around...until he gassed of course lol.
