According to Sportsnet.ca, Nate Marquardt (29-8-2) and Chael Sonnen (24-10-1) will face off at UFC 110. Both men are currently awaiting bout agreements. UFC 110 takes place on February 21st at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. Here is the rumored card for the show…
- Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Wanderlei Silva*
- Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs. Ben Rothwell*
- Stephan Bonnar vs. Krzysztof Soszynski*
- Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen*
- James Te Huna vs. TBA*
If I could be stuffed to go to Sydney I would, but a little too far for me in Adelaide, decent card though.

Not a bad card- especially if the rumors hold true and it's broadcast free on Spike.... sure beats this week's 105 card.

if sonnen wins then where does that put maia, cuz he beat sonnen easily but got killed by marquardt. theyd be effectively tied

i guess if sonnen wins this fight marquardts "title shot" is out the window and if the rumors of henderson going to strikeforce is true who`ll challenge silva/belfort for the MW belt?

I wouldn't say maia got "killed" by Nate. Sure, it was a quick and vicious blow, but it wasn't, by any means, "kill"-worthy. Lots of questions still unanswered after that fight.
I hope George Sotiropolous fights in his home country
