Notes From The UFC 105 Weigh-Ins

Some details from today’s weigh-ins…

- Full weigh-in results can be found here.

- 3,000 fans attended the weigh-ins today.

- All of the UK fighters got the expected reactions, while Randy Couture got a standing ovation when he came out.

- Spike TV officials are hopeful that the Couture vs. Vera fight will reach 5-million viewers. The overall hope is for the show to be the third highest rated live special in history, behind Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock in 2006 and Dan Henderson vs. Quinton Jackson's title unification match in 2007.

- While the arena was sold out days ago (16,300 fans), they opened up a few hundred more tickets, and hope to get up to 16,600 fans in the building.

- Georges St. Pierre will be at ringside for the Swick vs. Hardy fight. St. Pierre has stated that he has no desire to get in the cage after the bout, as he does not want to take away from the winner's moment.

GSP classy, yeah right tell that to Hughes.

GSP is a typical french canadian..i can almost imagine him singing the, "There's no Canada like French Canada" song.
