UFC Looking To Return To Newark New, Jersey In March Of 2010

According to MMAJunkie.com, a source close to the event states that the UFC could return to Newark, NJ, for a March 2010 event. The event will likely be held at the Prudential Center, which held UFC 78 back in November of 2007, and is expected to be the UFC 111 show. UFC 78 was headlined by Rashad Evans vs. Michael Bisping, which drew 14,071 fans for a $2.1 million gate. The March show for the UFC had been held in Ohio for the last three years. While there is no official conformation of the date, Nick Lembo of the New Jersey Athletic Control Board stated that, "there have been discussions about a date and location."
