WEC general manager Reed Harris dishes the dirt…
- At the WEC 44 post event press conference, WEC general manager Reed Harris spoke about the future of the WEC featherweight title. Here are the highlights…
Will Mike Brown Get An Immediate Rematch?: "We haven't had those discussions yet, but I would think that we would most likely make [Brown] go back and earn his way back to title contention. Our divisions are so deep, and there are so many guys that are standing in line waiting for a title shot that have earned them that are top-level guys."
In There Anyone In Line Right Now?: "I have like two or three guys in my mind right now that I'm thinking about," Harris said. "What we'll do is we'll sit down probably this week, we'll talk about what happened [Wednesday] and start planning. At this time, there's no one that comes to the top. I'll talk to Sean Shelby, and actually he'll be the guy to make that call. We'll probably do that in the next couple of weeks and start to plan that out."
