Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg In The Works For UFC 109

According to The Fight Network, a welterweight bout between Matt Serra (9-6 MMA, 6-6 UFC) and Frank Trigg (19-7 MMA, 2-4 UFC) is expected to take place in February at UFC 109. Bout agreements are expected to be signed soon. Here is the rumored card for the event:

- Champ Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort (for middleweight title)*
- Mark Coleman vs. Randy Couture*
- Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller*
- Renzo Gracie vs. Matt Hughes*
- Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg*
- Rob Emerson vs. Phillipe Nover*
- Rolles Gracie vs. Mostapha Al Turk*
- Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres*

* - Not officially announced

I like it. I'm probably the only person who was glad Trigg didn't get cut after that last fight. This is more the caliber of fighter each should be fighting at this point in each others career, plus there should be some fun shit talk:)

If this card holds, which i doubt it will, this would be awesome.

Gracie vs Hughes, Belfort vs Silva, Coleman vs Couture & Serra vs Trigg. You can't miss.

Rumours suggest that Gracie vs Hughes is sketchy for UFC 109.
