Posted by Ashish on 11.22.2009

Josh Koscheck, Anthony Johnson, and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira all earned $70,000 fight-night bonuses for their performances at UFC 106 on Saturday night.

Koscheck scored the "Submission of the Night" bonus for his second-round stoppage of Johnson, Nogueira the "Knockout of the Night" bonus for his first-round stoppage of Luiz Cane, and Koscheck and Johnson both earned "Fight of the Night" bonuses for their bout. Koscheck netted $140,000 for his two bonuses.

Kendall Grove should've got submission of the night.

Seconded.

I think they only gave Rumble FOTN because of Kos blatant, dirty eye gouge to a guy who had to have corrective surgery once on his eye cuz of the same thing.

After that blatant fake eye-injury, he doesn't deserved any of those bonuses.

Kos said he wanted to fight monthly for the money.... seems to me he made plenty in 1 month and shoud be able to take a few months off!

kos's win meant more.. thats why submission of the night went to him.... kendal caught an inexperienced roshalt.. not as important

Don't bitch kos
made 193,000for 15 minutes, don't all of his weeks of training count for anything,he doesn't get paid whilst doing it,just for fights!

wow Grove and Sotiropolous got screwed. Both of their submissions were of a much higher calibur than Koschecks. I can see FotN for Kos/Rumble but fuck off submission of the night. How can you value a simple rear naked choke over a slick transition from Bicep crunch to armbar or coming back from an asskicking to lock on a triangle from the bottom.

Fucking Bullshit Dana!!
