Dana White Talks About M-1’s Offer For Fedor To Fight Brock For Free

- Dana White recently spoke with MMAJunkie.com Radio, here are the highlights…
On M-1 Saying Fedor Will Fight Brock For Free: "They'll do the fight for free?" White asked. "That's [expletive] weird because I offered them millions of dollars to take the fight and he didn't take it. Now [Emelianenko] wants to fight for free? When and where? I'd love him to fight for free. I'll make that [expletive] fight right now for free. Let's do it."
On Negotiations With M-1: "That's funny that they say they'll do it for free now when they were dealing with us and negotiating with us they wanted 50 percent of our business," White said. "They wanted 50 percent of our business to do that fight, but now they'll do it for free? [Millen] is a [expletive] clown that talks out of his ass and has no business (discussing the negotiations)," White said. "That guy is a nobody. When we did the big Fedor negotiations, you think he was in it? He wasn't even in it. That guy's full of [expletive]. Tell him to go frost his [expletive] hair again and beat it. You don't think I want to make that fight? Of course I want to make that fight. But it takes two people to make a deal, not one guy."
On What He Offered Fedor: "We offered [Emelianenko] lots of money – so much money that it caused lots of [expletive] with our other fighters," White said. "That's how much money we offered him. And guess what he said. 'No, we want 50 percent of your business.' That's some Russian strong-arm [expletive]. They can get away with that [expletive] out in Russia to the baker that works down the street. They're not coming to America and doing that. If Fedor wants to fight the best in the world, he can call right now. We can [expletive] cut a deal right this second, and we can do it."
On Brock's Status: "[Lesnar] had minor surgery," White said. "He's kicking back, healing up, seeing how he feels. No matter what, we're sending him down to the Mayo Clinic to get checked out by the best doctors in the world. From there, we'll see what happens. He's still very much in limbo, and we don't know. All I really care about is that the guys healthy and can come back."
Gotta give to Dana on this one. Fedor wants not part of Brock. But if he's willing to do it for free, let Brock heal up and then let's do it. Fedor's people are full of it. I wouldn't be so cocky given that fight Fedor had with Brett Rogers. He didn't look good. Said it before and I'll sat it again: no one in MMA has Brock's combination of speed, size, power, and wrestling skills.

Funny, now that Brock is out indefinitely Dana wants to make a fight. If he was so interested in making that fight why didn`t he give them the 50%. Because brock was/is too green and if Mir could hang in long enough to get a submission (1st fight), What are the odds Fedor who is better at everything including absorbing punishment can`t beat Brock.

Dana is fucken stupid. He wont do A Brock/Fedor fight cause he knows Fedor will kill brock. Even thou Fedor is in Strikeforce. All you people say Brock will kill Fedor give me A fucken break he fought people bigger and more accomplished than Brock and beatem.

i want to see this fight soo bad!! im tierd of hearing whos the best in the world..i do understand fedors corner wanting to copromote this fight.. i mean why should zuffa be the only ones allowed to cash in on this bout? we all know if this happens its going to be the biggest event in ufc history. this fight will bring in more money then any other ufc event ever has to date.. i dont belive either that fedor was offerd millions.. even title holders only make around half a million a fight.. and i say only very loosly. fedor looked good against rogers and brock is recovering so im intrested to see how this goes down..lesnar is a monster but fedors background in mma is insane..look it up he has over 10 gold medals in russian olympics and a few gold medals in the world olympics plus a 30-1 record not to mention a 26 fight winning steak.. hes fought 3 former ufc champions..beat them all and hes taken down a few people equal to the size of lesnar..also 2 people who were just under 7 feet tall.. i think he can do it, but im always up for a surprise.. cant wait to see this

way is 50-50. You know Fedor would either catch Brock with a counter ala
Arlovski and Rodgers, or hed arm bar his

and Matt Lindland. Just face it, Fedor is the best ring fighter in the history
of man, and youre bosses are too cheap
and scared to make this happen. Tell you

They said Fedor loves to fight and would fight brock for free. This was all brought about from all the Fedor fears brock crap that's going around. We'll see Fedor's contract with strikeforce and m-1 is over from what i've read in 2 fights.

Ah, all these funny people whining about who would beat who. This whole deal's not even about that, you clowns.
Read it again, M-1 wanted FIFTY PERCENT of UFC's earnings from the show that featured Brock v. Fedor. That's just BAD business right there. M-1 was looking to strongarm UFC into a no-win situation.
Brock wins, UFC only breaks even on the event and the organizers look like morons for paying millions to a guy who lost while M-1 reaps huge profits above any of their own shows.
Fedor wins, M-1 is seen by fans as a superior brand and UFC may lose a portion of their fanbase.
It's common sense. By the way, Brock wins, round 2, TKO by rapid-fire hammerfists while in half guard.

Hey, they said he'd do the fight for free...they better man up and do it then once Brock and Fedor are healed up.
You can't say shit like that and then back out. UFC and Strikeforce split all expenses down the middle...cost of arena, fight purses, promotions and marketing etc, then split the gate and PPV fees.

Ok, now I'll admit I'm a Brock fan from his WWE days; but fully admit that I would probably give the favor to Fedor (man has never been beat clean). But to say that Dana's stupid for talking this up.... one must remember this doesn't come out of M-1 till Brock has his career in question..... 1,000 bucks says had Brock-Carwin happened and Brock won you'ld never hear the other side promoting the opposing world champion however now that Brock's down they feel free to talk about doing a fight for free cause they know it won't happen....That's just the facts

If you do the research look into some of the Fedor manager videos where they admitted to wanting so much it was rediculous!!! The whole %50 was not just for that show they wanted a counter offer to be an undersigned partner in the COMPANY just like the other companies they helped kill cause of Fedor, and if you look at those same videos they also admitted to the UFC giving ALOT of money offered which caused people like Hendo and some others to try and stall on resigning.
