Not so much the best of PRIDE more of "UFC fighters under contract that are on good terms with Dana White beating non-UFC fighters (or ones not on Dana's nut sack) in PRIDE."

Not bad, but...I would've gone with something like this:
Wanderlei Silva vs Rampage (Second fight)
Anderson Silva vs Ryo Chonan
Shogun vs Overeem (PRIDE 33)
Chuck Liddell vs Guy Mezger

Love how all the winners of the match ups are with the UFC and the loosers are not. Whatever it's awesome how Dana can shit on his competition and make money at the same time lol

Which Rampage-Silva fight? The second one where Rampage was talking on his cellphone during the introductions? That fight made Rampage turn to Jesus.
Wonder if the "Best of Pride" shows will showcase the most successful Pride fighter, Fedor?
Fights we may not see on this new program:
Shogun Rua vs. Mark Coleman
Wanderlei Silva vs Ricardo Arona
Wanderlei Silva vs Dan Henderson
Anderson SIlva vs. Ryo Chonan

What about Fedor? Fuck you Dana!

I think Fedor/M-1 owns the rights to Fedor's footage. Plus, why would you want to give the competition free publicity?
I'd rather be able to get a complete history of PRIDE dvd set myself.

did you really think UFC would promote a fighter not under contract. I mean ok lets give some publicity to someone else. It does not make any sense.

"I think Fedor/M-1 owns the rights to Fedor's footage."
Yeah, that is why they used so much of it to promote his fight on CBS, right?
UFC bought Pride, Fedor didn't somehow magically keep the rights to his fights.

I'm not remotely surprised the UFC doesn't promote retired or non-UFC fighters, even thought it's a "Pride" best of, it really isn't ever going to be that, because the people that own the library aren't going to give airtime to someone that had only ever opposed them.
But Liddell-Overeem is the kinda pick that just makes it all too obvious. If that wasn't there, it wouldn't look so biased. Randleman and Newton are average, and Wandy-Rampage is a fight UFC fans already saw Rampage win. Nobody gets hurt.

I was initially excited about the Best of Pride because I thought the show might improve the quality of posts on this board. Instead of seeing the best of Pride, I fear the program will just be used for advertisement.
I guess after witnessing what happens when the champ of a reality show faces the champ of the world, the UFC has to try something.
