DirecTV and Comcast/Versus To Possibly Reach Resolution in March

Good news for WEC and UFC fans and DirecTV subscribers.

Sports Illustrated writer, Josh Gross, tweeted on his official Twitter account today that Satellite TV provider, DirecTV, and Comcast, the owners of the Versus channel, could possibly be reaching a resolution as early as March of this year. Gross tweets:

"For DirecTV subscribers concerned they'll miss UFC on Versus (Jones-Vera, Gonzaga-dos Santos) I'm told a resolution is expected by March."

UFC Ultimate Fight Night 21 will air on Versus on March 21. The next WEC event, WEC 47, which will be headlined by Brian Bowles defending his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz, is set to air on March 6. It's not yet known if DirecTV and Comcast will reach a deal in time for the next WEC though.
