Mike Brown Set to Fight on WEC 48 Card

The former WEC featherweight champion will be back in action later this year.

Yesterday on the Dave & Mahoney Morning Show, WEC President Reed Harris announced the intention to hold the WEC 48 event as the MMA promotion's inaugural PPV fight to be headlined by Jose Aldo defending his featherweight title against former champion, Urijah Faber. While the event being a PPV is not official, 411mania has just received word that Mike Brown (5-1, WEC; 23-5, MMA) is set to fight on the card, though his opponent is not yet confirmed. Brown speculates he might face the winner of the Deividas Taurosevičius vs. LC Davis fight set to go down at WEC 47 on March 6.
