Hidehiko Yoshida Announces Final MMA Fight

The 40-year old decided to hang it up April 25th…

According to MMAJunkie.com, Hidehiko Yoshida (9-7-1) has announced that he will compete in MMA for the final time on April 25th. Yoshida will help organize an event called "ASTRA," but no opponent has been announced for him yet. The event will take place in the 5,000-seat Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, and will feature fellow Yoshida Dojo fighters Kazuhiro Nakamura, Tatsunao Nagakura, Michihiro Omigawa and Makoto Takimoto.

I'm glad he's decided to hang it up while he can still offer a competitive fight.

His first fight with Wand is still a must-see classic. Enjoy retirement, Mr. Yoshida!
