Was Tito Ortiz Pulled From The Ultimate Fighter 11 Tapings?
Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.17.2010
And is his fight with Chuck Liddell in danger?
According to fiveouncesofpain.com, Tito Ortiz was removed from the tapings of The Ultimate Fighter 11, and is out of his bout with Chuck Liddell. Sources close to the situation have told the site that "multiple herniations in the neck of Ortiz prompted his removal."
The UFC has not officially commented on the situation.

Looks like his neck can no longer support his fat head.

The guy's a jerk and all, but I wouldn't want him to paralyze himself or die as a result of a fight. I wish his health all the best.

at least he gave his excuse before he was beat. He's learning. But in all honesty, I would hate to play video games with this guy...I'm sure he was the kid to always have the "broken controller".

retire. I can't stand this guy.
Tito's only wins since 2006 were Ken Shamrock, and Split to Forrest Griffin which many people think Forrest won. In the re-match Tito was completely outclassed by a far technically superior Griffin.
Could you imagine the destruction that would be Rashad VS Ortiz 2 at this point in their careers? Tito would be lucky to leave the match alive.
Back injuries, surgeries, and a loss in fan base need this guy to retire from active competition.
He's a good commentator when he can stay unbiased, and a good promoter. I would just like to see him promote some other Punishment fighters.

Not making light of the dude's health, but Ortiz vs Lidell was a rematch I DID NOT WANT TO SEE to begin with.

Disc herniations can occur as a result of any sudden injury to the head or neck. Disc herniations can be seen in people who have been involved in a motor vehicle accident or who have been injured while participating in contact sports such as football or hockey.

Did anybody not expect Tito to get hurt or be hurt and complain? It's kind of his thing.

It's not that I wish anybody any poor health...but from a fight standpoint, this is probably for the best. NOBODY wanted to see Chuck vs. Tito. It's over.
