UFC 114 Official For May 29th, Rampage vs. Rashad To Headline

The UFC officially announced that UFC 114 would place on May 29th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, along with the company's 2010 Fan Expo. They also announced that Rashad Evans (14-1-1- MMA, 9-1-1 UFC) vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (30-7 MMA, 5-1 UFC) would main event the show. Here is the updated card for the May 29th event..

Now that everyone is healthy again, the cards are looking damn good on paper throughout the Spring/Summer. Forrest vs Lil Nog would have been THE Main Event this past winter!

How is this stacked? 2 name fights, and it's stacked? Little Nog will destroy Forrest, Bisping is irrelevent, and Evans will likely win a boring ass decision over Rampage.

I know Evans is good but in my mind I see Rampage taking his head off. Re: Rampage looking like a douche on TUF - a lot can be done with selective editing. Doesn't matter anyway, Rampage is a killing machine.

This is a decent card, no doubt, but it's hardly stacked.
UFC 92 was stacked. 100 was stacked.... 114, no, not so much without even a belt.

As much as I want Rampage to win this fight, I dont see it happening. He's not happy with the UFC and just wants to finish out his contract and go off to make movies. I don't see him mentally and physically being in this fight 100%.

This is a solid card. Good match-ups all around.
My picks, sadly, are as follows:
Evans via KO (I'm pulling for Rampage though)
Lil Nog via TKO (strikes)
Miller via lay and pray (I hate Michael "The Cunt" Bisping...)
Sanchez via murder (he's gona be pissed)
Sadollah via decision

I look to see this one go to a rubber match! Both competitors have good striking and ground game. Me thinks Rashad will come out on top in the 2nd round though.

you guys are crazy fampage might be a stronger puncher then rashad but he also was in forrests fight, Rashads footwork will outclass rampages waay more speed on his side
