Gegard Mousasi Looks To Finalize A Long-Term Strikeforce Deal After April 17th

Gegard wants to stay it seems…
- Gegard Mousasi recently spoke with MMA Junkie, here are the highlights…
On His Strikeforce Status: "I have one more fight left on my contract, but we are planning to sign a new deal."
Does Strikeforce Treat Him Well?: "I'm being treated very well," he said. "I feel like I'm a part of the family, so there's no reason for me to go anywhere else. I fight also in DREAM, so I don't have any desires to go anywhere."
On His Fight Schedule: "I like to keep busy," Mousasi said. "I'm in very good shape. I don't know why (I should) stop for two months and go back training to be in good shape. If I'm in good shape, I'm going to be in good shape the whole year. For next year, I want to take it easy; (fighting) three times a year is good."
Having one Fedor is bad enough. We don't need two.

but there is a reason to fight somewhere else. this guy is talented but the people he fights are either old and washed up, some up and comer, or some scrub. Can someone please tell me why he just had a fight against Gary Goodridge. I'm not a UFC nuthugger but if he wants real competition the UFC 205lbs division is stacked with elite fighters. there is no one there for him to fight in strikeforce.
