Tim Boetsch vs. Phil Davis Planned for UFC 123

November card starting to take shape...
Tim Boetsch (12-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Phil Davis (7-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) are expected to face off at UFC 123. It's not yet known if the fight will be on the preliminary or main card.
UFC 123 has not been officially announced, but is expected to take place on November 20 at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Ann Arbor, MI. A light heavyweight bout between Quentin "Rampage" Jackson and Lyoto Machida will headline.

actually a pretty good test to see where davis is at, cuz boetsch was a d1 wrestler himself and has pretty good striking too. if davis is the monster people say he is though, he should still win

Yay, i'm glad this fight is coming to my hometown. I would like to see both of these fighters.

Indeed he was, bu no where near the level that Phil Davis was. Davis a National Champion and a 4- time All American. Boetsch a sub .500 4 year record. Davis will man-handle him on the wrestling side. Thia will be an arse kickin to the 3rd degree
