Hell no. $50 for a bunch of B fighters with a main event with Jardine?! The Jardine fight will be 3 rounds of Jardine getting handeled on the ground. The co-main event will be Alexander getting subbed in about 2 minutes by Soko. $30 maybe, but no way for $50.

Maybe for $10 like the old TNA ppvs back in the day haha

These are good fights on paper (although I thought Trevor Prangley was a middleweight?) but I'm not willing to pay for anybody but the UFC and WEC's talent rosters. Even Strikeforce doesn't have the roster to run PPV. I think Shark Fights is trying hard and I hope they do a good gate but there are so many UFC PPVs in a year that you need to save your money.

They haven't even managed to sell 1,000 tickets to the show yet.

I guess they do better nationally than they do locally...

I'm pretty sure its only about $30 (29.99) but I could be wrong.

You're right its 30 bucks. And the answer is still no. I would love to see the buys shows like this and War on the Mainland and Impact fc get.

I just checked again and this piece is $40 on my cable. Funny thing is its $50 on my friends. WTF? Whatever, $30 is too much for this. What the hell made Shark Fights think this was the card to try PPV at. UFC is the only MMA promotion that can do PPV right now, and that includes WEC too.

Sorry Bas "stacked card" love yeh but you have defiantly been hit in the head ALOT....now this card defiantly has some potential to be very entertaining... I don't care who you are The Dean of Mean always puts on a show (yes i believe seeing him take a beat down and spilling blood everywhere is top notch entertainment)

Haha what a dumb question. I would of asked "How much are you willing to pay for the PPV". I'd pay $10 and that goes for Strikeforce too if they ever put on a PPV (which they shouldn't).

no I'll gladly wait until any of these guys prove themselves worthy of being in one of the big 2 before paying to see them. There is a reason Alexander and Jardine aren't in the UFC

It's not a million miles away from some UFC cards - but it lacks a main event, really. Throw a Rich Franklin, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell in there, and big daddy Dana would love to sell you that card. And you'd buy it, even though those "main eventers" are semi-relevant at best.

I really can't believe they're asking $30-50 for a card full of UFC cast-offs and unknowns.

This looks more like a "Fight Night" card.

For that card I'd pay $10, *maybe* $15, if nothing else is going on that night. Not interested in the #2 event at all and a couple others look like mismatches.

I think there are several other minor league events later this week asking $30 as well (Shine, TPF, KOTC?), going right up vs. Bellator which is free btw. These small promotions need to be more realistic, they are not 2/3 of a good UFC card. Free prelim stream (like SF is doing on Sherdog) followed by $10-15 main event stream or free stream with ads is the way to go, most importantly it will get the hardcore fans talking about your promotion.

i dont know whether don frye has repetitive-head-injury parkinson disease or whether he is just drunk and stupid, but i must say his commentary was the most sorry example of ringside exposition i have ever seen in all the history of mma. stupid...inappropriate...unenlightening...purely ignorant. completely detracted from the experience.
