He's going to use Lex Luger's torture rack...
Christian Morecraft recently discussed his strategy going into a heavyweight fight with Pay Barry on the UFC on FX card Friday.
On entertaining the fans: "Do I feel like I should put on a boring fight and get the win instead of going out there and putting on a mudhole-stomping, maniac fight? Well, hey listen. The fans fill the seats, and they want to see good ol' fashioned fights. And obviously if you sit there and pitter-patter and stay away from the guy the whole time, everyone's going to boo. All of your guys are going to say, 'He's scared and doesn't belong in the UFC. He's the worst in the UFC.' I'm going to go in there like I normally do, and I'm going to bring the pressure."
On handling Barry's leg kicks: "I think it would be a dumb decision for me to stand in front of Pat Barry and let him kick me in the leg. It's obvious to stay away from that and execute my game plan. If I fight his fight and stand in front of him, of course he's going to kick the [expletive] out of my leg and pound my leg. The game plan is put him in the Lex Luger torture rack, throw him over the top rope like it's Wrestlemania X."
On coming back from two losses: "Losing, it pisses you off and makes you hungry, and it makes you want to chase a big victory. I worked a lot on my game and my conditioning and every aspect of my game."
On Pat Barry: "Pat Barry is a big name. Pat Barry, everyone loves Pat Barry. I love him myself. But I can't wait to go out there. A win over pat Barry is going to be huge for my win column, and I can't wait to go out there and get it."
On his future: "I'm young, 25 years old. I can't wait to keep growing and advancing. I'll be at the top of the chain soon. Two losses anywhere aren't good, so it's going to be a big night for me when I get a W."
