Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado Rematch Aiming for UFC on F/X 5
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 08.05.2012

A rematch between Phil Davis and Wagner Prado is being targeted for October following last night's no contest result. Dana White revealed after the show that the rematch for the prelim fight, which ended without a winner after an accidental eye poke left Prado with vision problems, will likely take place at UFC on F/X 5.

The eye poke came about while Davis was defending a punch from Prado and his open left hand grazed Prado's right eye. The doctor was called in and after conferring with Prado, determined the fight couldn't continue.

"Me and Joe [Silva] were talking, and maybe we put them on (UFC on FX 5) in Minneapolis," said White. "Provided his eye's OK and he doesn't have any problems, we'll move them to that card."

UFC on F/X 5 goes down on October 5th Minneapolis, Minnesota.
