Wanderlei Silva's Father Killed in Car Accident

A tragedy in Brazil…
The father of Wanderlei Silva has been killed in a car accident in Brazil. Holando Pinheiro da Silva, the father of the UFC star, died on Sunday in a head-on collision that left the other driver dead and a child in the hospital. The child is in serious condition.
Silva left Las Vegas on Monday to be with his family in Brazil for the funeral. The UFC released the following statement: "The UFC family sends its sincerest condolences to Wanderlei Silva on the loss of his father, Holando Pinheiro da Silva, who died in a car accident Sunday afternoon in Brazil."
Silva tweeted about his father and reaction from fans:
There are no words to thank you for the support. We do not know what else to do at such times, and we see who is with us. Thank you.
You guys do not know how much help me, he was a great father and a great person, great example!
