Firas Zahabi to Launch Tristar Fight Night Series This Year

MMAjunkie recently spoke with MMA fight coach and trainer, Firas Zahabi, who announced he's going to start promoting a series of MMA fight events called the Tristar Fight Night series starting in December.
The fight will feature fighters from the Montreal, Quebec, Canada region as well as other Canadian MMA fighters. Zahabi says, "We've been having a lot of problems with shows falling apart, and Quebec needs a new show. I think it created a bidding war, and it rose the price of fighters and fights, and it went too high," he said.
The fight nights will be streamed live on the internet via a satellite dish that was recently mounted on the roof of the Tristar gym. Zahabi is the trainer for such fighters as UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and welterweight contender Rory MacDonald. Both fighters also train at the Tristar Gym.
