Which Of Jon Jones' Brothers Would Be Great In MMA?
Posted by Joseph Lee on 10.01.2012

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Jay Glazer revealed which of Jon Jones' pro football siblings (Arthur and Chandler) would be best in MMA. Here are highlights:

On the attitude that football players can do MMA: "All the football players, they say, 'Oh, I could do [MMA]' until one of them gets punched or gets a low kick. Come to me after that happens."

On Jones' claims that his 305 lb brother Arthur could be a great MMA heavyweight if his football career ends: "He wrestled (Kansas City Chiefs nose tackle) Kelly Gregg in his own locker room a couple of years ago, (and Gregg was) an All-American high-school wrestler. They sent this to everybody in the NFL. Arthur's tough, man. Arthur got right in Rashad (Evans') face when they saw each other out in Vegas, kind of sticking up for his brother."

On which is the better football player: "Nothing's too big for him. He gets it faster than most rookies get it. I saw him before the (Tampa Bay) Buccaneers game, and he already understands it's a thinking man's game. The NFL is a thinking man's game. You've got to outwork people in the film room, you've got to outwork people in preparation, and make Sundays a lot easier. That's why the Ray Lewises and Tom Bradys of the world are so great. They watch nonstop (tape) and are thinking."
