Dana White Says a Title Would Likely Not be Defended in GSP/Silva Super Fight
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 11.21.2012

At the UFC 154 post-fight press conference UFC President Dana White addressed if a potential superfight with UFC champions Georges St. Pierre and Anderson Silva would see either guy defending their title.

Silva had previously fought in Pride at 168 pounds though it has been a long time since he competed in that weight class and he has even competed as high as 205 lbs. at light heavyweight.

According to White, "Probably not, because I don't know how many times Anderson would actually defend it." White also added, "It's more of a pound-for-pound, legacy-type fight."
