According to mmafighting.com, Alessio Sakara (15-10, 1 NC) has signed a four-fight extension with the UFC. Sakara has lost three in a row, including a DQ loss to Patrick Cote at UFC 154. Sakara's manager Lex McMahon had the following to say about the deal…
"We believe this gesture is indicative of the level of respect the UFC has for Alessio, and we want to thank Dana White, Joe Silva, Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta for their long-standing support of Alessio. He is very focused on showing his appreciation the next time he steps into the Octagon."
