Magnus Cedenblad vs Rafael Natal Booked For UFC on FOX 6
Posted by Joseph Lee on 11.27.2012

MMA Junkie reports that a middleweight fight between Magnus Cedenblad (10-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Rafael Natal (14-4-1 MMA, 2-2-1 UFC) has been signed for UFC on FOX 6. UFC officials confirmed the booking after it was found that verbal agreements were in place. The event will take place on January 26 at the United Center in Chicago. It will be UFC's first network event of 2013.

The main card features a featherweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson. It will air on FOX while FX and Facebook will have the preliminary fights. Cedenblad vs. Natal likely will be part of the preliminary card.

Cedenblad had a seven-fight win streak prior to his UFC debut at UFC on FUEL TV 2 against Francis Carmont. He lost in the second round to a rear-naked choke. It was his first loss since 2009. Meanwhile, Natal is fighting for the first time since he lost to Andrew Craig at UFC on FUEL TV 4 in July. Craig scored a head kick that allowed him to get the victory. This ended a two-fight winning streak for Natal, who debuted with a loss to Rich Attonio and a draw against Jesse Bongfeldt.
