Fox Sports Media Group Announces Week of Wall to Wall UFC Coverage Heading into UFC on Fox 5

Fox Sports Media Group today announced that they will be launching a heavy week of television coverage on Fox Sports, FUEL TV, Fox Deportes, MundoFox, FoxSports.com, & Fox Sports Radio starting on Sunday, December 2 to coincide with the UFC on Fox 5 broadcast on Saturday, Deccember 8.

FX will be hosting the preliminary card fights for the card. Jay Glazer, Kenny Florian, and Brian Stann will be offering analysis for preliminary bouts on FX with host Curt Menefee, Stann, and Randy Couture handling analysis for fights on Fox Sports. Additionally, preliminary bouts will air live on Fox Sports Media Group's Spanish language network Fox Deportes. The four UFC on Fox fights will also be broadcast on the MundoFox in Spanish. Larry Pepe will be hosting all the matches for Fox Sports Radio.

Coverage for UFC on the Fox networks starts on Sunday with an hour long special, UFC on Fox 5: Road to the Octagon. The show takes a look at the four bouts on the main card and the fighters' preparation. The special will be broadcast prior to or following Fox Sports singleheader NFL coverage on December 2. Road to the Octagon will re-air Tuesday, December 9 at 9PM ET on Fuel TV. This will be followed by the weekly UFC news and information shows UFC Tonight and Ultimate Insider which will go behind-the-scenes and feature previews for the main title bout between Ben Henderson and Nate Diaz.

Next will be Ben Henderson: Rising Up on Fuel TV on Wednesday, December 5 at 11PM ET. This is a 60-minute documentary special that showcases the life of Ben Henderson outside the Octagon including his friends and family members.

Fuel TV will broadcast the weigh-ins for the event live on Friday, December 7 at 7PM ET. Fuel TV will also host the UFC Post-fight show immediately after UFC on Fox 5 on Saturday, December 8 at 10PM ET. The Post-fight show will be hosted by Jay Glazer alongside analysts Brian Stann and Kenny Florian. Ariel Helwani will handle on-site interviews.

FoxSports.com will feature extended coverage of UFC on Fox 5 in the week up to the event. The coverage will include story highlights and profile pieces on BJ Penn, Rory MacDonald, and Nate Diaz as well as preview of the Henderson vs. Diaz fight.
