Eric Kelly vs. Honorio Banario for ONE FC Featherweight Title Set as Main Event for ONE FC 7

A new featherweight champion will be crowned...
One FC CEO Victor Cui said today the promotion will crown their first featherweight champion at ONE FC 7: return of Warriors on February 2 in a fight between Eric Kelly (9-0, MMA) and Honorio Banario (7-1, MMA).
The fight will take place at Stadium Putra in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Banario/Kelly fight will be the main event for the fight card.
Victor Cui stated on the match-up: "They're really the top two contenders right now. The fans out here in Asia have been asking for that fight for a long time and I think they both deserve a title shot. Both have a huge fan following. Eric Kelly is based in Malaysia, and he's one of the most popular MMA instructors out here – everybody from local people to government (employees) train with him. And Banario is a really aggressive young fighter that is going to make a name for himself."
