UFC President Dana White announced at the UFC 155 post-fight press conference that if Michael Bisping defeats Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 7 on January 19, then Bisping will get the next middleweight title shot against reigning champion Anderson Silva. Michael Bisping defeated Brian Stann by decision at UFC 152. Belfort moved up in weight to face Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title at UFC 152 where he lost by submission in the fourth round.
