Daniel Cormier served as a UFC analyst on Fuel TV for their UFC 155 coverage. Following the win of Cain Velasquez over Junior dos Santos for the heavyweight title, it was addressed to Cormier if he would fight Velasquez at heavyweight for the title.
Cormier on the issue of fighting Velasquez: "Ariel [Helwani] is finding different ways to ask for this fight. I just cornered the guy and hugged him after he won the fight. Cain almost started crying when he was asked if we were going to fight. There are some interesting matches at heavyweight for me first. I've got a few fights to do, then I might move down.""
