Mark Munoz Narrowly Avoids Injury After Car Crash

Five Ounces of Pain reports that UFC middleweight Mark Munoz narrowly avoided injury after a recent car crash, ending a difficult 2012 for him.
He had several injuries this year and his only UFC appearance was a knockout loss to Chris Weidman, which broke a four-fight winning streak.
He posted photos on his Instagram of a totaled SUV with the message: "Thankful for (the) adversities I've had in 2012. Changed perspective, looking forward to 2013. Gonna be a great year!"
He is currently out of action with a foot injury and won't fight again for a few more months. He has an overall record of 12-3 that includes six stoppages.
