Bellator Reportedly Makes Counter Offer for Eddie Alvarez

Alvarez's MMA future still in question...
Bellator Fighting Championship has reportedly offered a new contract for former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.
UFC President Dana White recently stated that he expected negotiations with Alvarez to "get ugly." Requests for statements by UFC, Bellator, and Alvarez's management team, Authentic Sports Management, have all been denied. Reportedly, an official announcement isn't expected to be made until a legal review of both contract offers (Alvarez previously received a contract offer from the UFC). According to sources, Bellator's offer was made in "in good faith" and apparently on the surface matches the deal that was offered by the UFC previously.
Alvarez has not yet accepted the offer according to reports and is seeking clarification on the contract language in each of the two deals. Among the concerns are if Alvarez has the right to sign with another promotion while still operating inside of Bellator's matching period.
