Bellator 92 Set for March 7, Lightweight Tournament Final Set
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 01.18.2013

Bellator MMA announced today that the lightweight tournament that started in season seven will finally conclude at Bellator 92 which will be held on March 7 at Pechanga Resort & Casino in California. Marcin Held will face Dave Jansen in the lightweight tournament finals to earn a title shot and $100,000.

The tournament final was originally scheduled for Bellator 84, but Held was not allowed to enter the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana where the event was being held. Held was only 20 years old and not old enough to enter or fight in the casino. As a result the fight was moved to season eight of Bellator.

The event will be broadcast live at 7PM PT on Spike TV and will be shown in Spanish on mun2. The preliminary card will be streamed live and free on Spike.com at 5PM MT.

Tickets for the event still start at $40 and can be purchased at Pechanga.com, Bellator.com, or by calling the Pechanga Box Office at 877-711-2946 or visiting between noon and PM daily.
