Ricardo Lamas Wants to Face the Winner of Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 01.27.2013

At the UFC on Fox 6 post-fight press conference UFC on Fox 6 winner Ricardo Lamas, who defeated Erik Koch on the main card, said he will be in Las Vegas to watch the featherweight title fight with Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar. Lamas has now won four fights in a row at featherweight in the UFC and is undefeated in the Octagon overall.

Lamas stated, "There's a fight happening next weekend, I'm going to be there watching, and I'd love to have the winner of that fight, the main event of Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar."

Plans for the next featherweight title fight are not set in stone. In response, UFC President Dana White was asked if Lamas will face the winner. He said, "I have no idea, but I like that he wants it. I like that he wants it."
