MMAjunkie recently spoke with Bellator MMA fighter Will Brooks. Brooks faces Ricardo Tirloni in a season 8 lightweight tournament fight at Bellator 87. Here are some highlights:
Brooks thoughts on what would happen with his career after he faced Satoru Kitaoka at DREAM 18: "At that point, I was basically like, whatever comes to me when I get back home is what's going to happen. There was a period where I wasn't having fun doing what I was doing. was putting too much pressure on myself and demanding everything and not letting things come to me."
Brooks on how he got offered to be in the Bellator lightweight tournament after he beat Kitaoka: "He told me I was offered to be a part of this tournament. I'm really excited, man. I'm on the roller coaster, and I'm going up."
Brooks' thoughts on the fight: "It's so hard to put together one game plan because so many things can happen. But I'm excited that Bellator gave me this opportunity."
