Even if he probably should...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Lloyd Woodard (12-2 MMA, 2-2 BFC) explained why he will not leave Missoula, Montana, even if he probably should. He will meet David Rickels (11-1 MMA, 5-1 BFC) tonight at Bellator 87 on Spike TV at 10 PM ET.
On why he stays in Montana: "I don't feel like I have to stay in Missoula, but I love it. I love Montana. I think it's the greatest state you could live in."
On if he has the skills to be a top fighter: "If my fights to this point didn't show that I can and that I have the skills to do it, I think I'll prove it in the full tournament here. It's one of the things I pride myself on, coming out of a small camp. I tell people I'm the Rocky Balboa of Bellator because I'm coming out of nowhere every time. I'm not coming from a big camp."
On if he would ever leave: "I have the access to go to other camps and get different looks, and I do that, but Montana's my home. I'm not willing to give up living in the greatest state in the country just to train with some other guys."
